All data collected pertaining to the individual account holder and their product usage is covered by the same protections that apply to all sensitive law enforcement data as documented under the terms of the LEAP MOU.
Information collected may be shared with:
- Your agency's designated SoundThinking, Inc. Network Point of Contact(s);
- Your agency's OIC;
- Federal, state and local auditors.
The following information is automatically collected and stored by the system when an account holder accesses and uses the SoundThinking, Inc. Network:
- The name of the internet domain that the SoundThinking, Inc. Network is accessed from;
- The Internet Protocol (IP) address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you are using the Internet) used to access the SoundThinking, Inc. Network;
- The type of browser and operating system used to access the SoundThinking, Inc. Network;
- The date and time you accessed SoundThinking, Inc. Network;
- The pages you visit and the information you request;
- The queries you executed;
- The duration of a query and/or page response;
- The person or incident details viewed;
- The product features accessed.
This information is collected for audit purposes, statistical analysis of product and/or feature usage, performance metrics and to comply with the requirements of the FBI CJIS Security Addendum.
